About Twra Field Day Exemption
TWRA Field Day Exemption is a special provision given by the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA), which allows certain individuals to participate in hunting activities without having to attend a mandatory Field Day. The Field Day Exemption is provided to those who have successfully completed an online course or a classroom session for hunting education and have acquired a certificate of completion. Individuals who are exempted from attending the Field Day include: 1. Active-duty military personnel who are stationed outside of Tennessee. 2. Individuals who are 21 years or older and have a hunting license valid in Tennessee or another state. 3. Individuals who have completed a Hunter Education course in another state and are not Tennessee residents. 4. Individuals who are hunting under the supervision of a licensed hunter in Tennessee. 5. Anyone who holds a Lifetime Hunting and Fishing License.
